Responsible for consistently meeting quality and timeliness standards in the coordination of the housekeeping operations. A Dispatcher / Office Clerk must ensure he / she follows the company mission statement and values. Must maintain professional and effective relationships with the employees of both MasterCorp and serviced property.

10.00 to 12.00 per hour – depending on experience

Main Responsibilities:

QUALITY

  • Develop and maintain a high standard of excellence within the staff
  • Coordinate duties of housekeeping department
  • Assign tasks to staff and ensure tasks are completed
  • Maintain effective communication with housekeeping staff, front desk, and maintenance department
  • Report maintenance issues as per company procedures
  • Log and report lost and found items to Executive Housekeeper and Front Desk
  • Report vacant and ready units as per company procedures
  • Keep all logs timely, complete, and accurate
  • Clean, organize, stock, and assist in making linen & amenity bags as directed
  • Attend all training sessions and perform practical application of training
  • Be knowledgeable of housekeeping procedures
  • Ensure a safe working environment

TIMELINESS

  • Perform duties without immediate supervision
  • Willing and able to perform any and all duties related to site operation as directed
  • Ensure a sense of urgency exists within housekeeping staff so that units are turned on time
  • Personal timeliness, be prompt with all assignments and appointments

BUDGET

  • Utilize supplies and equipment efficiently and effectively
  • Perform inventory counts as directed
  • Responsible for time efficiency of assigned staff

CUSTOMER SERVICE

  • Assist in solving guest complaints promptly
  • Cultivate and develop strong, positive customer relations
  • Willing and able to assist resort guests and owners
  • Knowledgeable of the resort

Qualifications

Must be bilingual and must have experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Sitting for long periods
  • Ability to answer calls consistently
  • Ability to use keyboard consistently
  • Standing & walking
  • Climbing stairs
  • Twisting, bending, stooping and reaching
  • Regularly lift up to 25 lbs.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

  • Odors or dust
  • Cleaning chemicals
  • Laundry chemicals

MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to make decisions
  • Planning and scheduling capabilities
  • Ability to read, write and do basic math
  • Use of long term and short term memory
  • The Dispatcher / Office Clerk is not limited to the above mentioned job description and may be requested to do additional tasks as directed by MasterCorp Management.
