Summary: The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices.

Job Classification: The Accounts Payable Specialist is a non-exempt, full-time employee

• Process high volume invoices for multiple entities and service lines
• Verify invoices including validation of vendor info, cost object and workflow routing in Esker system for correctness and identify and resolve invoice errors
• Research and resolve vendor inquiries, statements, and discrepancies
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
• Monitor and respond to AP phone line inquiries
• Process debit and credit memos
• Creation of new vendors
• Process daily mail and scan into Esker system
• Maintain the AP@davey.com Zendesk ticketing system and resolve inquiries
• Other AP processes include;
  • Company Pcard processing in Concur – review, maintenance and employee setup and communication
  • Process recurring payments such as rents
  • PO invoice processing
  • Fuel card program
  • Tolls, Violations and Fines
  • ACI Virtual Card program, ACH adoption, acquisitions, SAP/S4 implementation and upgrade testing
• Payment disbursements including check, ACH and wire processing
• Special projects as assigned, including travel as needed.

• Provides comprehensive oversight of Concur Expense Cardholder process.
• Collaborates effectively to ensure adherence to compliance and audit requirements.

• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Required: 1-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Travel, Customer Service, or other shared services related field.
• Required: On-the-job training experience with expense accruals, payment submissions, and reporting.
• Required: Experience with SAP and/or S4 Hana.
• Required: Experience with Microsoft Office and other computer or software programs necessary to complete job duties.
• Preferred: Experience with Concur, including purchasing cards.
• Preferred: Experience with Direct Travel.
